Three courses, one school

Autumn term at Ben Yehuda 142 · October 2026 desk hours below

How a course runs

Each course is six weekly meetings of three hours, plus one shorter look at contact sheets mid-week if the group wants it. You enroll in one course at a time so the rooms stay with that group. Film and digital cameras are both welcome; we do not sell either.

Bring a notebook. Street students wear shoes they can stand in. Still-life students should expect to work in gloves in the dark room. Portrait students should be willing to sit as well as photograph. The desk can answer questions Sunday through Thursday 09:00–18:00 and Friday 09:00–13:00. Saturday the building is closed.

What you receive

A place in a named group, instructor time, and access to the rooms that belong to that course. Street groups leave from the desk. Still-life groups use the table and the dark room on their evenings. Portrait groups book the window room.

You leave with prints or files you made, notes from the table, and a clearer sense of what to do next on your own. We do not bundle cameras, we do not stamp a fake qualification, and we do not keep your work for advertising unless you say so in writing.

Look at student frames if you want a sense of the assignments. Then use the form on this page — it sends a GET request to our thanks page, and the desk reads it during October 2026 hours.

Enroll

The desk confirms places by phone or email. Write which course you want and a day you can visit Ben Yehuda 142.
